Supporting
Brookeside...
...Through
Volunteering
At
Brookeside Montessori School we depend heavily on parents for
volunteer assistance. There are many ways to get
involved. Parents serve on the Board of Directors, in our Home
and School Association, and assist in the classroom and with
field trips. Volunteering time and talent to
Brookeside Montessori helps us provide the best
possible environment for the children's education. Our specific
volunteer needs include:
 |
Becoming
a member of a committee |
 |
Supervising
children during lunch and recess |
 |
Maintaining
the building and grounds |
 |
Helping
with upcoming school events |
...Through
Fundraising
Throughout
the year our Home and School Association organizes events and
opportunities to raise funds for the school. Over the years the
funds have provided new playground equipment, materials for the
children to use in the classroom, and special events like our
Family Picnic.
Please keep in mind the following fundraising
opportunities are ongoing for the 2008-2009 school year. For
more information simply click on the picture for a link to each
web site.
Clip
Box Tops from hundreds of your favorite products and send them
into school. Each Box Top is 10 cents. Their web site includes
coupons. Please sign up on their website for monthly
contests to earn additional box tops for the school!

Labels from Campbell's soup and other products help us earn
points. We can use the points for a variety of items.

Shopping at Redner's
is an easy way to
earn money for our school. You will need to get a save-a-tape
card and present it as you check-out. Make sure your receipt has
save-a-tape on it and send it into school.

The
Home
and School Association collects used ink cartridges. It a great way to recycle, and it helps
our school!
